Notes & reviews
- High off Fisk's glove
- Lyons caught it against the stands
- Check swing
- Clemens: leaping stop
- Cangelosi: running catch
- Clemens nearly collided with Buckner on the return throw to 1B from Romero.
- Off the facade and into lower LF stands
- Armas trapped it and tumbled after a hard run
- Stapleton: diving stop but no throw
- Clemens: off his glove then kicked it into foul territory
- Ump Kosc claimed Clemens missed the bag. Clemens got right in Kosc's face and bumped into him, causing immediate ejection. The argument continued for several minutes. At one point, Clemens had to be physically restrained by both Rice and Baylor. TV replays were inconclusive, but Kosc was not in the best position to see if the outside of Clemens' shoe touched the side of the bag or not. Hurst and Nipper were also ejected from the dugout for protesting. ej,clemr001,P,koscg901,Call at 1B (Bumped umpire)
