3bman Zimmerman fielded ball at bag, stepped on 3rd for force out and threw home; throw was off line and catcher Flores fumbled it, but he recovered and tagged the plate, thinking the force was still on; Garciaparra was not tagged but was called out by HP umpire Wegner; LA manager Torre came out to object but 3b ump Holbrook immediately informed Wegner that Garciaparra was not forced; Call was reversed and Garciaparra scored
