the Twins thought they had struck out Lance Berkman on the 1-2 pitch that was called a ball by HP umpire Hunter Wendelstedt; Berkman doubled on the next pitch; Twins Manager Ron Gardenhire went to the mound and stayed long enough that Wendelstedt came to the mound to break up the meeting; as Gardenhire left the mound he started arguing with Wendelstedt, who ejected Gardenhire
