Notes & reviews
- Over SS
- Infield hit over 2B
- To the bleachers
- Hartnett nearly beaned during this PA
- During this AB, Mays and Kaufmann exchanged some heated words. Mays then nearly spiked him on the play at 1B and the umpires had to intervene.
- During this AB, Mays sneaked over a strike then shot one right at his eyebrows. Kaufmann dropped to the ground but kept his cool and socked the next one over Smith. He had some choice words to say to Mays from 2B.
