Notes & reviews

  • Rain delay of 5 minutes.
  • On 7/28/23, the Gazette reported an incident that happened here: 'Not many fans were aware that Lee Meadows was ordered out of (the) game following the balk charged against the spectacled hurler. Lee became incensed over the ruling and in the general excitement he lost his head. The umpires had already ordered him out of the game when Maranville chimed in. 'He was talking to me', yelled Rabbit, and Meadows was allowed to stay.'
