• With a 2-2 count to Pettis, Sox Mgr McNamara came out to argue with 1B Ump Young about something.
• McNamara continued to argue with Ump Young between innings
• Joyner argued the call at 2B
• Baylor was unhappy with the called strike, said a few words to Ump McClelland, and walked to the dugout.
• Baylor continued shouting from the dugout
• Don Baylor and Red Sox manager John McNamara ejected by HP umpire Tim McClelland following Armas' hit. ej,bayld001,P,mcclt901,Balls and strikes
• Between innings, acting Mgr Lachemann had words with Ump McClelland. Angels Mgr Mauch announced the Angels were playing under protest because Lachemann would not immediately name a replacement at DH for Baylor. (According to Rule 6.10, no substitute need be named until the DH's next time at bat.)
• Over CF fence just to the left of the CF camera
