• Per 111 Official Scorer, James Enright, Chicago Evening American Ralph Kiner said field slow as IF and OF grass cut very high. Official number 37,473, but SRO 40,252 per several reports.
• Santo played it off his chest.
• Off Hundley's glove, recovered and threw to 2B making it close play.
• Slow roller along 3B line, Santo bare-handed, but Weis beat out easily.
• Grounder hit mound, Weis fielded behind 2B but had trouble getting out of glove.
• With count 1-1, audio for remainder of Boswell's AB missing.
• Nice running catch by Qualls.
• No throw; Seaver tried to barehand, couldn't come up with it.
• Hit and run.
• RS had scored 13; Seaver grabbed high hopper and continued to 1B, making unassisted putout.
• Just out of reach over Williams' head off wall.
