Phillies manager Ben Chapman gave HP umpire George Barr the lineup he almost used the night before in game 2 listing Schoolboy Rowe while the PA announced Charley Schanz; Barr insisted Rowe face one hitter, so although Schanz was on the mound, Rowe ran to the mound without a warm-up and threw to Billy Cox, who singled on the second pitch
