Notes & reviews

Chapman fumbled Connolly's single to LF and Pickering scored from 2B. Connolly was credited with an RBI, it was an Earned Run for Pennock, and Chapman was charged with an error despite throwing Connolly out at 2B. One way to reconcile all this is to presume that Connolly 'reached' 2B on the E7 and then was out 'heading for 3B'
