- Manush & Schulte collided and were badly hurt while the ball rolled away from them. Manush suffered a broken nose and cuts to the lips; Schulte was dazed and stayed down for a long time. Players of both teams gathered around Schulte. Two doctors from the stands were summoned to attend to him. He was carried from the field and had cuts about the eyes caused by broken sunglasses. Both players spent the night in a hospital.
