Notes & reviews

  • McBride ejected by HP umpire Owens for throwing his bat at pitcher Mays after being hit by pitch. Red Sox Agnew, not in game, and Senators manager Griffith were ejected by Owens after exchanging punches. Agnew was then arrested by local police, taken to a police station, and charged with assault.
