From Chilly Doyle's column in the 7/29/1925 Gazette-Times: 'Meadows showed the fans he could fan from either side. Batting left-handed he whiffed three times in the teeth of Benton's twists. Marquard breezed Lee as the Pirate swung from the opposite side.'
