Young took the throw from RF on the edge of the infield dirt turned and saw Byrd halfway down the line; Young ran at Byrd, who never moved
Dukes seemed to have trouble tracking the ball, which hit low on the out of town scoreboard and was catchable
Young rounded the bag too far and was not able to return
Rangers catcher Gerald Laird left the game due to a strained right hamstring
