Game called after 8 innings due to 11pm curfew. Homestead had scored 3 runs in top of 9th that were wiped out. Homestead scored 3 runs on 4 hits and 2 walks off Jonas Gaines. Homestead protested the decision to call the game an 8-inning tie; arguing the game should have been suspended with them leading in top 9. Protest was upheld. Baltimore forfeited the game rather than complete the suspended game. The forfeit - which followed Game 4 (9/19) - gave Homestead a 3-1 series victory.
