Notes & reviews

Lavagetto broke for home on tap to pitcher Walker and both he and Padden ended up on third base bag. Davis touched both runners and Padden was declared out by umpire Klem.
Davis held second until ball dropped in for Moore's first ML hit.
Suhr spiked Frisch's hand and he had to leave the game.
