Notes & reviews

Heilmann started for home but returned to 3rd when he saw Speaker's throw was good. Crawford had started for 3rd but then retreated toward 2nd. SS then threw to Speaker covering 2nd. Heilmann then broke for home and was nailed by Speaker's throw to the catcher.
