Lavagetto dropped line drive close to second and tried for a double play. Umpires would not allow play calling Betts out with Hogan staying at 1B.
Pirates argue with umpires that Lindstrom scored before the third out was made. Pirates refused to take the field until the umpires threatened to forfeit the game. Game delayed again.
Pirates Jensen and Swift ejected by HP umpire Magerkurth for bench jockeying
Lee rounded second base too far and L. Waner threw him out.
