Notes & reviews

Without sliding Robinson knocked Rizutto down with a shoulder block to the chest. Rizutto appeared hurt, but after a few minutes he recovered.
Lindell left game with a bruised hip
The Dodgers argued Berra's hit was foul. Stanky was very mad and had to be restrained.
Page replaced Drews with a 2-1 count to Walker who had just smashed a long foul deep into the upper RF stands.
It was getting dark; the umpires went over to the box seats to confer with Commissioner Chandler.
