Notes & reviews
- Play-by-play deduced from newspaper game stories
- Wilson collided with C Thomas who dropped the ball. On the first pitch to Lackey C Thomas walked over to dugout and tagged Wilson who was called out by HP Umpire Washington for having missed home plate. After an argument in which Wilson grabbed Washington's mask and an umpire conference the call was upheld. Philly played game under protest.
