San Diego manager Green ejected by 3b umpire Culbreth after strange sequence of events; pitch to Chirinos appeared to hit knob of bat and rolled to the pitcher who threw him out; HP umpire Blakney called it a dead ball; Padres manager Green argued it had to be either a ball in play or a hit by pitch, that it could not be a dead ball; the 'dead ball' call was not reviewable so Green asked the umpires to huddle and overturn the 'dead ball' call into a ground out; they refused and after Green left the field the Rangers challenged the call, claiming Chirinos was hit by the pitch (which is reviewable); call was overturned to hit by pitch, causing tirade by Green, leading to his ejection
