Notes & reviews

Paschal broke for 2B but was headed off by Cochrane's throw to Galloway; he got back to 1B safely but advanced when Galloway's wild throw went past 1B (may have hit Paschal).
During this AB Gehrig was apparently hit by a wild pitch but Ump Evans claimed it hit his bat.
High bounder
A good throw would've nailed Ward at 3B but it was off-line
Jones put up a kick with Ump Hildebrand who ruled Jones was a trifle late taking the throw at the bag.
