- Rain began to fall as Jamieson came to the plate
- Time was called for 10 minutes because of a heavy shower
- Gardner was safe as Pillette juggled Blue's throw to 1B. When Gardner walked off the bag, Pillette threw to Haney who tagged him out. It's not clear if Gardner thought he was out and left the bag, or if he fell victim to the hidden ball trick
