- Between games of DH many fans in left field bleachers attempted to move into grandstand seats; police intervened and bleacher fans threw pop bottles at police and generally caused havoc; Robins manager Wilbert Robinson and captain Zack Wheat successfully asked the fans to settle down so that the 2nd game could begin
